Research - Physics Education

The investigation of the effectiveness and impact of using teaching technologies in both large and small undergraduate physics classrooms. It includes studying and addressing the issue of motivation and attitudes through the analysis of undergraduate physics courses. The technologies under investigation include interactive peer response systems (clickers), micro-computer based laboratory equipment such as Logger Pro or interactive computer simulations like the ones created by the Physics Educational Technology Team at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
